125 year celebrations:
2012 marks the 125th anniversary and the club endeavours to make this a memorable one for the club members and community. Here is a taste of the events planned:

• 18th May - Photo Exhibition Launch in Barbican – Food and refreshments will be served on the night and the exhibition will remain open for 2 weeks. This will be a real treat to realize what we the Blues are all about. Take pride in our past and embrace the future. (if you have any photos or articles about the club please send to shanenugent2000@yahoo.ie). This will hopefully bring many down memory lane and the new members up to speed on the legacy.
• June 22nd-24th U14 Feile Peil in Portlaois- The Blues are proud of the work the U14 team have being doing in their preparations to represent Louth at the Feile competition. Good luck lads.
• July 9th – 13th Cul Camp in the Blues- look out for the €5 discount codes on Kelloggs cereals for the cul camp.
• June –Kick the Ball to Croker- this will give the younger members a chance to have fun and fundraise for the club. Sponsor cards will be given to each child who will collectively kick the ball to Croker. More details to follow.

Clothing Recycling collection:
Please start collecting any clothes for the Blues clothes appeal. Clothes can be dropped to the clubhouse on any training night. We hope to raise enough funds to buy some more goals for the juvenile teams. Your support is greatly appreciated. Acceptable clothing- dry and clean clothing, men , women and children ,Curtains, bedding, paired shoes, belts, handbags, underwear , blankets.
Lucozade Sport bottle Cap Appeal
Start collecting any Lucozade bottle caps and give to your club mentor. We could be in with a chance of winning €10,000. So get collecting wherever you can from now until 31st Aug. There will also be a prize given to the Blues member that collects the most bottle caps.
Club Gear:
If you would like to order club gear please contact Orlaith Nugent (0868140876) before 18th May. Gear must be paid for at time of order.
