GAA/Basketball Crossover Programme:
A special note of thanks to Drogheda Bullets Basketball club that took our underage players for 4 weeks as part of Basketball Ireland's GAA/Basketball crossover programme. This gave our gaelic players a chance to learn the basic skills involved in basketball and see how they will compliment further enhancing their gaelic skills. The minimal overlap between the playing seasons means that basketball offers an opportunity to play a fun and skillful sport through the winter. We hope that many of the children follow on to play with the Bullet and Sparks clubs and the Longshots Academy over the winter months.
Pella Off Season sessions:
Our off season Pella AStro sessions start this Wednesday 10th OCtober @6pm in St. Joesph's Secondary SChool Astro pitch (behind gym) for 6 weeks.
Sessions cost €3 per child for all boys & girls.
Times:
6pm-6.45pm for 7-9yrs
6.45pm-7.30pm for 10-12yrs
We hope to see you all there to keep you busy over the winter months.
Halloween Camp: We will run a 2 day GAA camp on Tues. 30th & Wed. 31st Oct. 10am - 2pm for all boys & girls aged 6-13yrs. Cost €20 per child for the 2 days.
