Laune Rangers 0-5, Austin Stacks 1-14
Austin Stacks had a comfortable win over Laune Rangers in the Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Championship Final replay on Saturday afternoon, reclaiming their place in the County Senior Football Championship. See website for full match report.

The senior Men’s team season is not over just yet as they still have to contest the O’Sullivan Cup Final. Further fixture information to follow.
Mid Kerry Ladies Underage District Championship
U13 Girls – this group had strong wins over St Kieran’s, West Kerry and Tralee District. The team now progress to semi final stage which they will have home advantage on 24th November to the winners of North Kerry v Tralee District.
Laune Rangers players involved with Mid Kerry are Evelyn Bowler, Holly Breen, Grace Costello, Nicole Flynn, Niamh Hassett, Emily McMahon, Ciara Moore, Roisín Murphy, Holly O’Shea, Ellie O’Sullivan & Megan Quigg. Kerry O’Sullivan is involved with the management team.
U15 Girls – The U15 Mid Kerry Group had 7-point victories over North Kerry & St Kierans but suffered defeat against East Kerry on Saturday 9th November. The team qualify for a home semi final on 23rd November to the winners of South Kerry v North Kerry.
Laune Rangers players involved with Mid Kerry U15’s are Eimear Murphy, Ummi Shinohara, Kiri McGrath, Aoibhín O’Sullivan and Erin O’Sullivan. Sarah O’Connor is involved with the management team
U17 Girls – U17’s had a strong campaign in the group stage with wins over North, East and South Kerry. Again the U17’s also qualify for home semifinal against winners of West Kerry v South Kerry.
Laune Rangers players involved with Mid Kerry U17’s are Kate Costello, Aine Hassett, Sarah O’Brien, Jacquelyn Owens, Saoirse O’Shea & Riadh O’Sullivan. Alan O’Sullivan is part of management team and Diane Hassett is there as an FLO.

- Christmas Gift Initiative for St Joseph’s Home – 4th year running this initiative, where you organise a gift for a resident in St Joseph’s Home or for a local person who attends the Killorglin Day Care Centre or Ard Alainn. If you wish to get involved, please contact

LGFA Table Quiz: The Ladies Table Quiz was greatly supported on Friday night. Thanks to all who supported and to local businesses and parents who donated spot prizes on the night.
Volunteers Needed: Laune Rangers GAA are starting to prepare for next season, if you are interested in interested in volunteering within the Club for the coming year in some capacity. This may involve helping out at boys/girls’ academies sessions, becoming part of a coaching team, helping out on match day – stewarding, operating the scoreboard, gate collection; female liaison officer, helping with PR activities, lotto and other fundraisers.
The club will be starting the process of safeguarding and coaching courses for the winter. These are now a requirement for anyone volunteering with children, once this is completed it is valid for 3 years.

Scór: Scór na nÓg & Scór na bPáistí will be returning. There are eight disciplines in Scór that cover all aspects of Irish culture: Figure/Céilí Dancing, Solo Singing, Ballad Group, Recitation/Scéalaíocht, Nuachleas/Novelty Act, Instrumental Music, Set Dancing and Table Quiz. The competion is open to all young people under 17, if you are not a member for GAA purposes there is social membership also available.
