Senior Men
Senior Men played their second group game in Kerry Petroleum Intermediate Club Championship campaign on Sunday afternoon. Laune Rangers claimed a two-point victory despite a late rally by Kilcummin.
Final Score Laune Rangers 2-12, Kilcummin 2-10. Match report will be available on website later in the week.
Third round will see Laune Rangers travel to Frank Sheehy Park, Listowel to play Listowel Emmetts on Sunday 11th August at 4pm. All support welcome.
Senior Ladies – Corrib Oil County League Division 4, Round 3 Laune Rangers Senior Ladies team played Abbeydorney at home on Monday evening 29th July. The game was slow to start with 10 minutes gone before Laune Rangers kicked a point to open the scoring. Abbeydorney led by a point at half time. Half-time Laune Rangers 0-2, Abbeydorney 0-3.
Laune Rangers opened the second half with two points and led for majority of second half. Abbeydorney never giving up levelled to 0-9 a piece with 2 mins normal time remaining. Abbeydorney then kicked a point to go one ahead but captain Meadhbh Johnson kicked the final point of the game to finish level 0-10 a piece.
The senior ladies now await Corrib Oil Division 4 final fixture against Abbeydorney, further information to follow.
Minors:
Minor men played Austin Stacks in their Minor A Club Championship Final on Monday 29th July 7pm in Fitzgerald Stadium and suffered a heavy defeat, having a flurry of injuries in the lead up to the match. They now commence Keanes Supervalu sponsored Minor County Championship on Monday 5th August at 7pm in JP O’Sullivan Park against John Mitchels.

U16 Girls: Laune Rangers U16 girls have topped their group and await semi-final fixture.
U15 Boys: Both teams played Na Gaeil A & B teams on Wednesday evening and the White Team qualified for the final in their division. Unfortunately for the Blue team it was not meant be.

Massive congratulations to Ciara O’Brien and Kerry Senior Ladies and management team with their success in the All-Ireland Final on Sunday 4th August against Galway. What an achievement for this group, defeat 2 consecutive year and to come back with great drive again this year. The Club and parish are extremely proud of Ciara O’Brien who is an inspiration to the clubs’ underage members.
Juvenile Academies – Laune Rangers Sunday morning boys academy continues at 10am in JP O’Sullivan Park. This is for boys born between 2013-2019. For more info contact John 0872073244. The girl's academy continues Wednesday evenings at 6pm in JP O’Sullivan Park. This is for girls born between 2014 - 2019. For more information, contact Selina 0876196676 or Loretta 086 3764401. Laune Rangers Summer Camp will take place from 19th August, information has been forwarded to all applicable groups.
Healthy Clubs : Marie Keating Foundation will visit the JP O’Sullivan Park on 16th August from 11am to 2.30pm. This is a free service, and a Registered Nurse will be available to answer questions and provide written information on the main cancers and symptoms, the 3 cancer screening programmes and cancer prevention. There will be no screening on the day. JP O’Sullivan Park will have ample parking on the day
