 Results of tonight`s lotto draw 7 – 10 - 26 and 27 and the jackpot of €20.000 was not won. There were two match three winners, who shared €150: Bridget Whelan, Collins Park, Rathvilly (7-10-11-27) and Faye c/o Paula Byrne, Phelan Street, Rathvilly (7-10-14-27). Promoter`s prize €20 was won by Michael Kehoe, Rathvilly Post Office.

What A Game! Slaney U12 And Vale Share Eight Goals

Slaney were out of the blocks early with a super finish from Mason Murphy when put through by Liam Kelly on two minutes. Vale reply was almost instant with a well taken effort, before a close-range finish from Liam Kelly left it 2 -1at half-time. After the break, the visitors equalised, before two fine strikes from Mason Dempsey and John Patrick Keogh made it 4-2 in Slaney `s favour but Vale responded again with two top corner finishes, to share the points at 4-4.

 Div.. I League- Slaney Rovers FC  3 – 1 Dolmen Celtic

Slaney were under the cosh for the first half hour with Dylan Conners the busier of the keepers with two good saves, along with Dolmen hitting the woodwork. Having weathered that storm, a Brandon Ryan pass found Eoin Curran in space to slot home on 32 minutes. Eoin turned provider with a sweet cross which was headed home by the in-running Jake Elliot on 34 minutes. The visitors finished the half the stronger reducing the arrears with a well taken goal before half-time. After the break, following sustained pressure from Dolmen, good combination play between Colin Byrne and Paul Curran carved open the Celtic defence, for Eoin Curran to fire home from close range on 66 minutes.   

Slaney U16`s  3 - 1 St Patrick's Boys AFC

An early effort from Jack Corcoran rebounded to safety off the crossbar as early as the 2nd minute, whereas Pats took their chance, to lead 0-1 on six minutes. After a slow start, Slaney found their shooting boots, following a defence-splitting pass from Sean Barrett into the path of Osker Breen who fired home on 36 minutes for 1-1 at half time. After the break, the action was end-to-end with Jack Lyons clearing off the Slaney line, before a breaking ball fell kindly to Sean Barrett at the other end, who fired home from close range for 2-1. A long kick-out from Reece Quinn Burke bypassed midfield, found Jack Lyons in space and he finished coolly for 3-1 to Slaney.
