The lads got a dream start to the second half when Alan Ryan put in a cross from the right and Daniel O`Brien scored with the deftest of touches to put Slaney ahead. The Saints thought they were going to be on level terms from a goal-bound effort but keeper Fergal Harmon pulled off an excellent fingertip save. Shortly after, great combination play between Anatole Curran and Sean Furlong set up Dominic Byrne for a close-range finish for 0-2. Dominic then turner provider when his pass put Daniel O`Brien in, for a fine finish and a 3 nil win.
