Jackpot €20.000 was not won. Lotto numbers drawn on Tuesday 14 February were 2, 8, 12 and 13. There were five match three winners, who shared €150: Shane and Ger McSweeney, Castledermot Road, Baltinglass (2 – 8 – 13 - 17); Mrs. C. Gahan, Rathoe (2 - 8 -12 - 24); Dylan Connors, 28 Collins Park, Rathvilly (2-6-8-12); Liam Keogh, Fr. Cullen Terrace, Rathvilly (2-8-12-16) and Gillian Curran, 28 Woodgrove Avenue, Rathvilly (2-8-13-22). Promoter`s prize €20 was won by Michael Kehoe Rathvilly Post Office. The seniors got back to winning ways - defeating St. Pats B 1-3 at the Meadows. The home side started stronger and scored early on and were denied a second, thanks to a goal line clearance from Daniel O`Brien. Slaney got a break on 42 minutes, when Colin Byrne was brought down for a penalty, which Owen Coleman slotted home for 1-1 at half time. After the break, Daniel`s well-delivered cross from the right was headed home by Peter Kehoe who rose highest at the back post on for 1-2. Daniel O`Brien capped a great performance when he scored with the deftest of touches for a 1-3 win. Slaney Team of the Week (12) – Keeper: Fergal Harmon.
