U13`s In Control
Hosting Killeshin, the U13`s took control early on, with a brace from Timmy Jackson and a close-range finish from Kallan McCabe, to lead 3-0 at half time. After the break: Daniel O`Neill rifled home an excellent through ball from Fionn Foley; a close-range finish from Kallan McCabe and Nathan Young scored a late brace.
Men`s Team Lose By The Odd Goal In Three
Both Slaney and Bagenalstown were unbeaten in the league to date and it was the visitors who took the lead, inside the first three minutes. Slaney rallied and were level on 15 minutes after a brilliant free kick from outside the box from Daniel O` Brien. After the break, the visitors were awarded a penalty, which Fergal Harmon got a good hand to but just couldn`t keep it out.
