Lotto numbers drawn on Monday 13 May were 4, 12, 19 and 28 . There were two match three winners who shared €150: Brid Smith, Ballyhackett (4,12,19,21) and Manus Molloy, Rathvilly (12,17,19,28). Promoter prize`s Michael Kehoe. Slaney`s first appearance in a Carlow Cup semi-final ended in a disappointing defeat as they lost 2-1 to Hanover Harps in the Plots. It was an even first-half with both teams being reduced to half-chances for the most part as they cancelled each other out. Seanie Furlong made the breakthrough on 28 minutes as he finished off some great build-up play between Joe Thomson and Aaron Broughall to lead at the break. After the interval Harps got a foothold in the game, with a goal on 64 minutes and with extra time looming, they got the winner in the last ten minutes to bring our season to an abrupt end. All that`s left now is to decide a date for the club`s 40th. agm.
