KERRY HURLERS:
The Kerry Senior hurlers qualified for the Christy Ring Cup Ring semi finals, at Austin Stack Park Tralee on Saturday 30th April, when the home side had  a three point victory over Meath. The Crotta hurling club was well represented by Shane Nolan at wing forward on the Kerry team, Shane  had man of the match performance  scoring four  points from play. Kerry led 0-13 to 0-10 at the interval.
 TOBAR FLAINN
Fr. Ned Barrett  Kerry General Hospital, Tralee. celebrated The annual Mass at the Holy Well in Kilflynn on Friday evening 29th April in ideal weather conditions. A nice sizeable crowd were in attendance, and the local Church choir once again provided the beautiful Hymns for occasion.
KERRY MINOR HURLERS:
The Crotta hurling club was represented by Tom McElligott, Leam, Kilflynn on The Kerry Minor Hurling team who were defeated by Clare in Austin Stack Park on Wednesday 27th April.  In the Munster Minor Championship, Tom started at cornerback against Cork in the Munster Minor  Hurling  Championship Losers  Round. Cork 0-25 Kerry 2-6 . The final score in this Munster Minor Hurling Championship Losers Round does not adequately reflect the efforts of this brave Kerry Minor Hurling team as they entered the lions den in Pairc Ui Caoimh on Saturday evening and redeemed themselves against the kingpins of Munster Hurling.
It takes a lot of bottle after being pummelled to the canvas just three days earlier by 31 points to dust themselves down and travel to banks of the Lee against a wounded Cork side, when everyone expected another hammering.
So top marks and full respect for these young Kerry hurlers, who displayed the type of pride in wearing the green and gold, that augurs well for Kerry hurling down the road.
