NEW RECORD FOR THE CROTTA LOTTO JACKPOT:
The Jackpot in the Crotta Hurling Club weekly Lotto has risen to a new record figure of 13,700, which has been rolling over since Monday 25th August 2008. Abbeydorney Postmaster Frank O’Donovan was winner of the clubs biggest lotto jackpot ever of 13,600, when his numbers of 3,5,7 and 11 were drawn out by Independent Observer, Eileen Brennan, Rae, Kilflynn on 18th August 2008 in Parkers Pub. The four numbers picked out of the drum by Independent Observer, Christy O‘Connell, Ballyrehan, Lixnaw, for this week's Lotto Jackpot of €13,600, on Monday night, 15th November in Herbert‘s Bar, Kilflynn were: 1,21, 22 and 26. However no one came up with the correct combination of numbers and the Jackpot survived for another week. The Lucky dip prizes winner each receives €35:Jimmy Harris, C/o Gala Shop, Kilflynn, Helena Brennan, Knocknacaska, Kilflynn, Rose and Tom Dillon, St.Brendan’s Park, Tralee. Elaine O’Sullivan, Clahane, Tralee was drawn out for the Christmas draw.
The next draw will take place in Parker‘s Pub, Kilflynn on Monday 22nd November, with a Jackpot of 13,700.
Christmas Draw: One ticket will be drawn on Monday night 22nd and 29th November and 6th December at the lotto draw , For the Christmas draw in Herbert’s bar on Monday 13th December. First Prize €500, Second €300,Third Prize €200 and Fourth Prize €100.
