The premier team had a dissappointing result away to Knockavilla on Saturday in the Munster junior cup when they went down on a scoreline of 2 -1.Also on Saturday the 3rd division team entertained Buttevant in Carraig and after falling behind early in the second half went on to score twice to take all three points. Earlier that morning the U14's secured a share of the points against Richmond at home on a 2 - 2 scoreline. On Sunday the U12s continued their run in the national cup competition. Again against higher ranked Wilton Utd they outplayed and outscored them in a very entertaining game.An early goal from Luke Casey settled them and with their dominance throughout the park they went on to score a further two without reply before half time, Luke Casey again and another from Jack Oldham. In the second half Luke scored another to secure his hat-trick and he also missed from the spot before Wilton grabbed a late consolation in the dying minutes.This result puts them in the open draw from the rest of Ireland and no doubt they will be looking forward to securing a home draw hopefully. The U17 game was cancelled at the request of Lakewood Athletic.
