A trip to the cinema on Friday Night was the finale to our Summer Camp of youth sport and a week of community/ club engagement.
Over 100 kids attended each night and the cinema visit as well. Fantastic week enjoyed by all!
Excellent result for the Seniors last night and for a change it wasn't a draw.....
The Hoops were 2 pts up at the break, but an opening salvo at the start of the second of a goal and a point quickly put some distance between the sides.
Saul never really posed a threat after that as the lads kept the scoreboard ticking away, increasing the lead to 10 points at one stage.
A soft goal gave Saul some hope late on but Downpatrick continued to control the game and eventually ran out 7 point winners.
Final score RGU 2.11, Saul 1.07. Well done lads 👏 👏👏🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
