SENIOR FOOTBALL Our Senior Men hosted Clonduff on Friday night at Páirc Tomás Ruséil. The team started well but two quick goals put the visitors in-front midway through the first half. Nevertheless, the men kept their heads up and fought back to go in at half-time a point up. The second half was end-to-end, as the team first went into a four point lead, but were pulled back to two as the match entered the final stages. A great defensive performance, showing discipline and teamwork held Clonduff back and the RGU came through with a deserved win. Final Score: RGU 1.15 Clonduff: 2:10 Next-up, an away match to Mayobridge on Friday evening.
