So sad to hear of the passing of Jim Connolly. A true son of Downpatrick he excelled in all sport he turned to. Jim played juvenile for RGU in the 1970s and moved on to senior football in to the 1980s. But Jim Connolly was more than just a great footballer. He was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. A true gentleman with an infectious laugh, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him, but particularly by his wife Angie, daughters Aurla and Clare, son Blaine and their extended family. Ar dhéis Dé go rabh a anam Matches at all age levels will commence from Mon 10th May. Schedules will be sent to all groups as usual over the coming weeks. Training continues for all age groups this week, please keep in touch via the various WhatsApp groups and on our Facebook page. Details on registration and Covid protocols will be sent on these platforms. This week’s lotto numbers drawn by Roisin Polly were: 3,4,10 and 17. There was no jackpot winner, with the jackpot rising to £4,500 for next week. Five tickets matched three numbers to win £100.
