At last, and with the lifting of some Covid restrictions, we are at the end of our first week back to PTR for football training. What a week it's been for all our players back playing football and with the sun shining, as well.
Many thanks to all the ground staff for the hard work done in making PTR looking great.
Also, thanks to all our managers and mentors for taking teams, to all the various committees working in the background to make sure all was organised and safe to return.
Finally, thanks to all the footballers, young and old, who flocked back in large numbers. It was great to see everyone again.
Matches at all age levels will commence from Mon 10th May. Schedules will be sent to all groups as usual over the coming weeks.
Training continues for all age groups this week, please keep in touch via the various WhatsApp groups and on our Facebook page. Details on registration and Covid protocols will be sent on these platforms.
Our thoughts and prayers are with past players Jakey, Wayne and Darren Clarke on the passing of their father John (Nobby). To his wife June and the entire family circle we extend our condolences. Mary, Queen of the Gael, pray for him.
This week’s lotto numbers drawn by Roisin Polly were: 6,11,18 and 24. There was no jackpot winner, and next week’s Jackpot is now £4,300. There were six tickets matching three numbers to share in the £100. The winners were Karen McCrissican, Tammy Fegan, Ciara Cromie, Kathleen Dowd, Emma Connelly, and Gerry Sweeney.
