There was no winner of this weeks lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 7, 10, 17, 18. The winners of the €25 prizes were Mary Brannock, Rose Brannock, Kevin Murphy and Pat Sexton. Promoters prize went to Rose Brannock.
U9's had a blitz Saturday with teams from Raheens and Round Towers. Suncroft fielded two teams and had great performances from Jack Doyle, Mark Browne, Carla Ennis, Jack Lawless (1-4), Dylan King (0-1), Sean Knight (2-3), Harry Kiely and Tom Martin. Next match 5th September in Raheens.
Under 12's went down to Raheens in the semi final of the shield in Kilcullen on Thursday by a score of 2-14 to 2-7. Suncroft were down by 6 points at half time and were making a come back in second half with goals from Eoin Lawless and Christian Philips. But Raheens finished the game with a goal of their own. Eoin Troy, Dylan MacDermott and Corey Stynes also played well for Suncroft.
Under 13's start their league next Sunday at home against Naas at 10 AM.
Under 16's had a good win over Kilcullen on Saturday morning.
