Hard luck to our Senior team who lost to Robertstown on Saturday evening last. They play Ballykelly next weekend.

Under 6's and Under 8's had a great day during the blitz. Eliistown and Ballykelly provided the opposition for the blitz. Suncroft got to final in both competitions and the Under 8's , captained by Diarmuid Brannock won the U8 competition. We would like thank all team mentors and referees and all who helped to make it a great occasion for the kids.

Under 10A Team had a comfortable win over St. Laurence’s in the Under 10 league match on Thursday evening June 4th at home. Suncroft got down to business straight away with a goal from Sam Jordan. Stephen Crowley and Kallum Ennis with Owen Foy and Nicole Dooley roaming, dominated midfield and further first half scores came from  Kallum Ennis, Owen Foy, David Sutton, Stephen Crowley and Conor Smith to leave score at half time 8-4 to 1-1 in favour of Suncroft. St Laurence's few scoring attempts were thwarted by Suncroft defence with Aaron O’ Keefe O’ Reilly, Bryan Reid, Aaron Dunne and Aaron Sinnott on top. The final score was 12-8 to  2-4.

Also on Thursday June 4th  Under 10B Team had everyone on the edge of their seats as they were one point winners over neighbours Kildangan.

Suncroft  B 2-4                   Kildangan 2-3

Suncroft B team had their first victory of the season in a thrilling match between two teams that were evenly matched in this U10 match. Suncroft played a great match with their passing coming together and scoring great points and goals.  The match could have went either way with minutes to go with  Kildangan also playing great football, but Suncroft’s Jack Doyle secured the win with a brilliant point in the dying minutes. Best for Suncroft were Diarmuid Brannock in midfield, Sean Knight, Jack Dillon, Eoghan Conaghy in the backs, Aisling Dooley, Mark Browne (0-1) , William flood (1-0),   and Suncroft man of the match Jack Doyle who scored  1-3.

Under 12's had a real battle with Raheens at home on Tuesday June 2nd. The game went to the wire with Raheens edging Suncroft 3-10 to 3-6.

Under 14's game was called off this week and their next game is at home to Celbridge on Sunday June 14th.
