There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €17,000. The numbers drawn in the first draw were 11, 14, 15, 26. Numbers in the second draw were 4, 14, 25, 26. The €25 prize went to Maginns Staffm Pat Raleigh, Tom Malacka, Bernie C/O Maginns, Mick Flood. Promoters prize went to John Dowling.
Well done to the seniors who beat Clogherinkoe on Saturday last. Also well done to both county senior and minor teams for their wins over the weekend.
Under 6's and Under 8's will take part in a blitz on Bank Holiday Monday June 1st as a part of Suncroft GFC's Monster Field day and Auction.
Under 10's
In Div 4 Under 10's went down to a strong Nurney side in their first match in the league.
In Division 1 Suncroft's match in Castledermot could not be played last Thursday and will now be played in Suncroft on Thursday 28th May at 7pm.
Under 12's kick off their first match in Div 1 at home against Moorefield at 7pm on Tuesday May 26th.
Under 14's had a busy week with two matches scheduled. On Wednesday Suncroft were far too strong for the Na Fianna side. The final score was 4-18 to 3-3.
On Sunday Suncroft reversed the result of the Feile Div 2 Final as they beat St Kevin's on a score of 4-7 to 3-2.
Suncroft GFC are holding a Monster Field Day and Auction on Monday 1st June, 2009. The day kicks off at 12 noon with junior football blitz with visiting teams, followed by skills competition, Penalty Shoot Out, Tea/Cake stalls, Sponge throwing, Tug of War, Hook a duck, and many, many more activities. Fun for all the family! Lotto Draw on the day. Monster Auction starts at 3PM. Looking forward to seeing you all there!!
