Cheltenham Preview Night Our annual Cheletenham Preview night takes place on Friday 28th February. Tickets are €10 (includes a free €5 bet and finger food) each and available from the usual committee or at the bar. An all-star panel has been assembled for the night including MC: RTE racing's Tony O’Hehir, Trainer Jim Dreaper, Jockeys: Andrew Lynch, AJ MacNamara, and Danny Mullins SIS's Mike Vince and The Irish Star's: Brian Flanagan
There will also be a special feature on ARKLE (celebrating the 50th anniversary of his amazing 1964 Gold Cup win ) and an update on the ARKLE MEMORIAL STATUE soon to be unveiled in Ashbourne from Jim Dreaper(Arkle memorial statue chairperson)All welcome for a feast of racing stories and tips for the Cheltenham festival. Paul Martin Perpetual Memorial Golf Outing. Members are advised that the inaugural Paul Martin Perpetual Memorial Golf outing takes place in Ashbourne Golf Course on Friday 28th March. Time sheet will be open soon. Don Ash Golf Society 2014 Members are advised that the new committee are up and running for the year and are looking at the events calendar. Membership for the year is a at a great value of €25 and can be paid at the Bar or Reception. New Members welcome. Sunday lunches Members are advised that our Catering partner The Right Catering Company provide lunch service in the Bar every Sunday from 12.00noon. Two adult and two Children are available for a great price of €20. We will have the choices posted on the Facebook page on Sundays. Bingo Congratulations to Ann Moore on winning the snowball jackpot of €1000 at bingo last Thursday.
