The
Meath Senior Scór Final was held in ATHBOY on Saturday 28th February
This year, 2009, is a special occasion for SCÓR because it’s now 40 years in
existence.
12 clubs put forward contestants in the 8 scór competitions including
Donaghmore/Ashbourne
P.J. Moran gave a 125 year history of the G.A.A. in poetic form.
Clíona Field , Doireann Ní Loingsigh, Evelyn Broderick and Maireád O
Shaughnessy got 1st place in the Traditional Music Competition.
The quiz trio Aidan McCarthy, Michael Burnell AND P.J. Moran were the brainiest
of all in The Question Time competition.
They will be competing in The Leinster Semi Final on Sunday 6th March at
6pm in The Downes G.A.A. Club
