The numbers drawn in the Dunshaughlin GAA Lotto were 5,10,18 & 25 and there was no Jackpot Winner. Congratulations to Frances Maloney who matched 3 numbers. Results Div 1 AFL Dunshaughlin 1-08 Skryne 1-07 Last weekend saw the start of the Meath A League competition which seen our Seniors in action against local rivals Skryne in Dunshaughlin. On a bitterly cold day the lads held on following an impressive Skryne fight back to win by a point and to secure two valuable league points. It was a new look Dunshaughlin team with a few young lads stepping in and getting some first team exposure with all of them giving an impressive account for themselves. Well done to all involved and special thanks to the ground staff, the highly experienced car park attendants and to everyone who came to support the lads. GAA legends Barney Rock & Mick Lyons will once again come head to head – who’s side will YOU be on ??!! This fundraiser is a competition between all the audience members for a top prize of €5,000. The game show consists of 12 eliminator rounds. Each round will see a Red team compete against a Black team. Before each round each entrant will be given a colour, either Red or Black. If the colour they receive matches the colour of the winning team they are through to the next round. This continues on until there is only one entrant left who gets the chance to spin the wheel for a possible prize of €5,000.
If someone who has purchased a ticket can not attend on the night they will still be entered into the completion and will have the same chance of winning as those in the audience. Audience members who get knocked out in any of the first 4 rounds have an opportunity to buy back into the game for €10.
