Over the weekend our Junior D team were in action in Kilberry against North Meath rivals Drumconrath. The lads were right in the game but a late Drumconrath broke the hardy bucks heart with them going down by a single point.

On Saturday our U17 tem were victorious in a 7 a side blitz completion played in Dunganny with them beating St Pats of Stamullen in the Final. This is a fantastic achievement so well done lads and to management and everyone who was there to support the black and amber.

Thirty golfers took part in our latest Golf Society outing in Rathcore Golf Club on Saturday last. Mick Lyons had the course in fantastic condition and the basking sunshine added to a wonderful day out. Well done to our winner Eoin Farrelly with 40 points, second was Ralf Hosford (37 points) and third was Mark Devaney (36 points). Thanks to everyone who took part. Next outing is the Captain's Prize on August 16th in Knightsbrook.

Our Dunshaughlin U14 Boys will contest the National Feile for the first time in 8 years from 27th to 29th June in Roscommon/Mayo. This is just reward for this panel who have all worked very hard since last December winning the U14 Div 1 crown in May to qualify for Feile – pictured are some members of the panel celebrating the Div 1 final win over Dunboyne. Its a great achievement by all involved and a proud moment for the Club. Best wishes in the Feile competitions to the lads from all at Dunshaughlin GAA Club as they represent Meath with pride on the national stage. Full fixtures of the Feile can be found here - http://dunshaughlingaa.com/news/u14s-in-national-feile/

Dunshaughlin CLG will have representation in Croke Park next Sunday. Royal Gaels U 12 player Katelyn O Dwyer was chosen by her school Rathbeggan NS to represent them at half time in the Meath V Kildare game to play in the exhibition games. Good Luck Katelyn.
