The Numbers drawn in the Dunshaughlin GAA Lotto were 7,8,25 & 27 and there was no winner of our Jackpot or any match 3 winners. With summer fast approaching our Lotto is now €5400 so to be in with a chance to book your dream holiday make sure you are in the draw. On Saturday our U14's team recorded a fantastic 4-07 to 4-06 point over neighbours Ratoath in a thrilling Semi Final to book their place in the final. Well done lads and to the management and all involved. Our junior A team was in action on Sunday in Pairc Tailteann against Cortown but unfortunately lost out by two goals. There were about 90 children between the ages of 7 & 12 years who attended each day over 3 days and all seemed to enjoy all the activities. This was a free camp provided for the children of the parish by the club. It was run by a lot of volunteers who gave up their time to make this possible. The children were broken up into three different age groups and the basic skills of the game were coached to the younger brigade with the older age groups doing more technical ball drills and every session was done with particular emphasis on fun for all. We would especially like to mention the following people who worked along with the children over the three days, they are Laura Quinn, Aileen Coyle, Danny Quinn, Seamus Doyle, Kevin Doyle, Ronan Geraghty, Adam Mc Dermott, David Dunne and Cian Gallogly. For the last number of weeks our 14 couples have been put through their paces by choreographer Aisling Toher in preparation for what promises to be a truly memorable occasion for the entire parish. We guarantee a hugely entertaining night and encourage everyone to come along and support this event and help raise vital funds for both clubs.
