The Royal Gathering Its hard to believe but its been 25 years since Meath won back to back All-Irelands in 1988 after a replay over great rivals Cork. On the eve on his 34th birthday Navan O' Mahonys Clubman and Meath Captain Joe Cassells lifted "Sam Og" to bring it home to the Royal County for the 5th time. To celebrate this fantastic achievement and to pay homage to all involved "The Royal Gathering" will take place on the 19th of June at 7pm in Spigeltent Kennedy Place Navan. It promises to be a great night night with the MC duties being fulfilled by Hector O' hEochagain and music by "The Swingin Bluecats". Tickets are on sale at the Solstice Arts Centre and at Navan Town Council Offices and cost 25.
