Dinnerdance
Oh what a night we had. A big thanks to all those who came along to Knightsbrook Hotel on Saturday night to celebrate the fantastic achievements of our teams. It was non stop fun from start to finish. A huge thanks to our organising committee and to MC David Jennings who was best dressed on the night. Worst dressed goes to Dinny Lloyd from Tipperary, who was spotted in jeans.
It was great to see our successful Men's Team from 25 years ago turn up. They might not be as fit as they used to be, but they can still enjoy themesleves. Some may have ventured off to other clubs in recent times (Ray Maloney), but we welcomed them back with open arms for one night only!
Fixtures (weather permitting)
Mens: Tuesday 25th at home, Dunshaughlin/Royal Gaels 2nd team -v- Donaghmore Ashbourne at 8pm.
Men's: Wednesday 26th at home, Dunshaughlin/Royal Gaels 3rd team -v Bective in the Reserve Cup Division 4. Throw in at 8pm.
Men's: Sunday 2nd in Simonstown, Dunshaughlin/Royal Gaels 1st team -v-Simonstown in the Feis Cup. Throw in at 10.30am.
Seachtain na Gaeilge
Seachtain na Gaeilge, is an annual international festival promoting the Irish language and culture both in Ireland and around the world. We hope to have a host of activities running in early March. It's great to see our new Irish Language and Cultural Office Neil O'Duibhir, bring some energy and enthusiasm to the table on this important topic. Neil is always looking for new ways, that we as a club, can show our grá towards our Irish language and culture, so please feel free to reach out to him directly.
