Dunshaughlin battled the elements and a very strong Na Fianna (Dublin) side on Saturday in the Semi Final of the Leinster Minor Football Tournament in Eire Og of Carlow. Trailing by 9 points at the break, they battled back bravely, but despite being the better side in the second period they came out on the wrong side of a 1-12 to 1-06 score line.
Who needs X-Factor when we have our own singing sensation. Aoife Moore sung her way into a Scor na nOg Leinster Final with a fantastic performance in the Solo Singing (Amhranaiocht Aonair) category in the Leinster Semi-Final yesterday in the Westmeath club, The Downs in Mullingar. Well done Aoife!!!
The date has been set for the ACFL "B" League Division 1 Final. Dunshaughlin face opposition from town side O'Mahony's on Tuesday 15th December at 8pm. The final will be played in Donore (St. Mary's)
just a stones throw from Newgrange. It would be a fantastic achievement to win this competition having won Division 2 last year, your support is needed to help the lads on their way!!!
