Meath Senior Men’s Football Team

After their 2nd Round loss against Laois in the O’Byrne Cup, Andy McEntee’s charges got their first win of the 2022 season with a 1-15 to 1-10 victory over Wexford in Ashbourne.

 

Dunshaughlin Community College

Well done to the Dunshaughlin Community College Boys team who beat St. Peter’s College Dunboyne on Friday afternoon in a fixture that doubled up as the semi-finals of both the North Leinster League and the North Leinster Schools B Championship.

Dunshaughlin now face Granard in the Final.

DCC won by one point on a score line of 4-7(19) to 3-9(18).

The DCC scorers were John McDonagh 1-4(2f), Emmanuel Osas 2-0, Fursey Blake 1-0

Charlie O’ Connor, Adam Hanley & Zach Farrell all 0-1 each.

 

Drumree

Hard luck to Drumree Camogie team were lost out to Portlaoise yesterday on a score-line of 2-07 to 1-15, in their Leinster Quarter Final. Hard luck girls. A fantastic year in ’21 and we wish you the very best of luck in ’22 in Div.1 and the Senior Championship.

 

Every Step Counts is BACK!!

CALLING ALL WALKERS!

Following on from last year’s resounding success in the Irish Life ‘Every Step Counts’ challenge, we are delighted to announce the start of the campaign for 2022 running from 19th January – 23rd February.

Join us at our Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels clubhouse to kickstart your steps journey every Wednesday at 7pm, where one of our dedicated Walking leaders will facilitate walking tracks around our fabulous village. There are routes for all abilities – 5km, 3km and 1km, and all routes are wheelchair and buggy friendly. All you need is your walking shoes and a high-vis jacket.

If you can’t join one of our walks please consider signing up to the challenge on the MyLifeAPP regardless, just register under Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels. REMEMBER EVERY STEP COUNTS!
