24-24-24 #ClubTogether Challenge

There’s a few Well Dones to get through this week…

First off, a massive well done to the U15 and Minor Boys teams and their management for running a very successful 24-24-24 #ClubTogether Challenge completing their ‘1000 point Challenge’ last weekend in 58mins & 58seconds.

A big thank you to their sponsors: Peter Casey, Ely Wine Bar, N2 Electrical & Navan Hire.

Congrats to Ben Dunne on bagging himself a 55” TV and to all the prize winners on the day.

Last but certainly not least our final #ClubTogether Challenge took place tonight.

Well done to the Under 16 girls who hosted ‘Beat The Joker’. Manager Laura & our players; Emily, Molly, Elena, Annie & Rachel did a fantastic job.

Congratulations to the 2 lucky people who found the Jokers and won themselves €50:

  • Orlaith Moyles
  • Jenny Hunt

Enjoy your winnings!

As that’s our Last 24-24-24 #ClubTogether Challenge we sincerely want to thank each single person who donated to this fundraiser. It really wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Thank you also to the people to helped run each event. We cannot wait for the grand opening at end of November. So, pencil it in the diary. It’s going to be one hell of a party to make the opening of Your Great Clubhouse!

Congratulations

A massive congrats and well done to our own Donagh Mc Carrick on his selection for the Irish Rugby Under 18 squad. Donagh’s first game with the Irish team is against Italy later this month.

Donagh has been a great juvenile player for Dunshaughlin and was always a pleasure for coaches to work with. Donagh played his last game for the Black and Amber last Saturday in their victorious group Minor championship game ensuring Dunshaughlin’s 100% record and a spot in the Semi-Final. Unfortunately for Dunshaughlin Donagh will not be available for the remainder of the Minor championship due to his selection and commitment the Irish team.

Donagh is already a holder of a Division 1 Minor Championship medal from 2020 starring at centre half back.

Although sorry to be losing Donagh, we wish Donagh the very best in his Rugby career and look forward to welcoming him back as a player sometime in the future and to the day when we see Donagh togging out in the Black and Amber again.

Juvenile Notes:

  • The very best of luck to our Minor Boys who take on Skryne in the LMFM Sponsored Division 2 Minor Semi-Final on Friday next 22nd of October @ 8pm in Dunganny.
  • Well Done to all our ‘Go Games’ Players who played the last of their games at the weekend. We really hope they enjoy every second of their football this year and we look forward to welcoming them back in the New Year of 2022.

That’s it for this week folks.

See you all next week!

The prize amounts above are what each winner will receive.
