Meath Ladies

The Meath Ladies! Do I need to say anymore?!!

ALL IRELAND SENIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS 2021.

What a Team! What a group of girls! What a Management Team! What an Unbelievable Achievement!... As Brendan Cummins said himself on the day “This is the most amazing story I remember in sport”!

Dublin were defeated in Croke Park on a score line of 1-11 to 0-12 in a magnificent game of football.

I massive well done to our own three HEROS, Niamh Gallogly, Niamh O’Sullivan and Meadhbh Byrne. Niamh O’Sullivan was outstanding on the day kicking 3 superb points in crucial moments of the game. Niamh Gallogly was sprung from the bench at a time when Meath needed her most and with that introduction brought serious speed and power up and down the wing for the remainder of the game setting up vital scores.

Enjoy the celebrations girls. You deserve every bit of it.

We can’t wait to welcome you back to the club.
