Meath Senior Ladies

Well done to Niamh, Meadhbh, Niamh and the Meath Ladies who had a great win over Cavan at the weekend in Semi-Final of the Lidl National Football League on a score-line of 0-13 to 0-09

That victory has set the girls up for a clash with the “Kingdom” in the Final on June 26th at in Croke Park. Time TBC.

We wish the girls the very best of luck, "Hon the Royal".

Meath Senior Men

Hard luck to our own Mathew Costello and the Meath team who lost out to Kildare at the weekend. We wish the lads all the best in the preparation over the next two weeks as they prepare for the first round of the championship.

Senior Men’s Team

Best of luck to our Senior Men’s Team when they take on Summerhill next Wednesday evening in Round 2 of the Feis Cup @ 19:45. Hopefully the lads can dust themselves down and get back to winning ways after losing out to Moynalvey last week.

Senior Ladies Teams

Well done to our Senior Ladies team who got off to a winning start in the League tonight against near neighbours Dunboyne on a score line of 1.09 to 0-09. A brilliant way to start the year. Well done girls.

They will face Simonstown Gaels at home next Monday 21st June in Round 2.

A mention also for Laura Bourke and Laura Quinn who have been named Captain and Vice-Captain for the year ahead. Best of luck girls and well deserved.

The Ladies Div. 4 team put a strong battle against Walterstown yesterday Sunday, only to lose out by 4 points. Up next for these girls is Moynalvey, away, this coming Thursday evening.

Juvenile Games

Well done to all our Juvenile teams who were in action over the past week. We had so many games it’s near impossible to go through them all. There are full match reports over on our Facebook page so make sure to check them out. One thing is for sure, it’s great to see a buzz back around the place with games happening all over the place.

Same again this week please!

Congratulations

A massive congrats to Molly O'Connor and Elena Kennedy who have been included in the Meath U16 panel for 2021 and to Siún Hartigan, Grace Summerville and Joy Osas who have been included in the Meath U14 panel for 2021. Five amazing and super talented girls who will represent our Club with honours. We're all proud of you and wish you and the Meath team every success this year "Hon the Royals".

That’s it for this week folks.

See you all next week!
