Thanks to Laura Murray for putting it together🖤💛

Meath Senior Ladies

Well done to Niamh, Meadhbh, Niamh and the Meath Ladies who had a very convincing win over Wexford at the weekend in Round 2 of the Lidl National Football League on a score-line of 7-17 to 0-05.

Next up for the Royals is Clare, next Sunday, June 6th @ 17:30 in Pairc Tailteann.

We wish the girls the very best of luck, "Hon the Royal".

Meath Senior Men

Hard Luck to Mathew and the Meath lads who were beaten by Mayo at the weekend in Castlebar on a score-line of 3-17 to 2-12. Meath made 7 changes to the starting team that started the week previous against Down. The result didn’t really matter as Meath had already secured a semi-final spot ahead of the game. Meath finished second in the group and will now face off against near neighbours Kildare in the semi-final on Sunday June 13th. The winner of that game will not only be promoted to Division 1 next year but will be crowned joint winners of Division 2 as there will be no Final played due to the Championship starting the weekend after. Throw-in on Sunday 13th @ 2pm in Newbridge. Stayed tuned to social media on the day or watch it Live on GAA GO.

On a separate note we would like to Congratulate Mathew Costello on being named Meath U20 Captain for the year ahead. Luke Mitchell will also join him on the panel.

We wish Matt, Luke and the lads the very best of luck, An Mhí Abù.

That’s it for this week folks.

See you all next week!
