Results/Fixtures

First up this week are our Meath Minors. They faced Westmeath last Saturday in the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship Quarter Final. A superb second half showing in Navan, one where they outscored their opponents 2-06 to 0-02 ensured they advance to the semi-final. Our own Aaron Murphy netted Meath’s first goal in the 10th minute, John McDonagh later hit the onion sack in the 50th minute while Kinsella was there to drive the dagger home netting Meath’s 3rd and final goal just before full time. Meath march on to face Laos in the semi-final. Final Score on the day: Meath 3-11 Westmeath 0-07.

The Meath Ladies are putting the final touches to their preparation for the TG4 All Ireland Intermediate Football Final clash against Westmeath on Sunday December 20th in Croke Park. Throw-in on the day is @ 13:15 – LIVE on TG4.

Everyone in the club wants to wish our own three girls; Niamh O’Sullivan, Meadhbh Byrne & Niamh Gallogly and everyone involved, the very best of luck. We are hoping the girls can right the wrongs of the last two years and make it a Christmas to remember for all the right reasons.
