Our weekly draw took place last Monday evening September 7th.

The numbers drawn were 9-13-14-24. There was No Winner of the €13,000 Jackpot & we had No Match 3 Winners.

Thanks to Gordan Weldon for helping on the night to draw the numbers.

Our Next Draw will take place Next Monday evening, September 14th & it will be streamed LIVE once again on our Facebook Page @ 8.30pm where the Jackpot will remain at €13,000! Our Reserve Jackpot is now standing at €3,400 where €200 will be added to it each week.

Results

Our Intermediate Ladies team faced off against Navan O’Mahoney’s last Wednesday evening in the Semi-Final of the Championship and ended up running out comfortable winners in the end on a score line of 5-14 to 2-05. This sets up a date with Dee Rangers in the Final of the Intermediate Championship. Well Done Girls and the very best of luck in the Final.

Our U15 Div. 4 Boys team had a fantastic win last night, Tuesday against St Marys winning quiet convincingly on a score line of 3-15 to 2-05. The win puts them through to the knockout stages of the Championship. Well done lads!

Our U14 Div. 5 Girls were in action against St. Michaels last Saturday in the League Semi – Final and in the end came out with the “W” on a score line of 4-11 to 4-05. Well Done girls super performance, end to end football.

Our U12 Div. 1 Girls have also gone and done it. They too have reached the Semi – Final of the League. They beat Curraha quiet convincingly last Saturday. Unbelievable performance all around the pitch, Well Done girls.

We had numerous other juvenile games throughout the week, great scores and skills were on show, well done to all.

Fixtures

Our Intermediate Ladies take on Dee Rangers in the Intermediate Football Final next Sunday, September 13th in Ashbourne @ 5pm. The very best of luck to the Management and all the players, everyone’s behind you. Bring it Home!

Due to the restrictions that all games will be behind closed door for the foreseeable future, the Ladies Intermediate game will be streamed LIVE on our Facebook page.

Best of luck also to all our juvenile teams who play this week and in fact to all our teams in this week’s competitions.

Awards

Dunshaughlin & Royal Gaels were nominated by Paul Healy of SuperValu for the “Lockdown Hero’s Awards”. Last Saturday the club was Presented with the Joint Community Award & the Overall Lockdown Award by Gavin Becton of the Meath Chronicle.

A huge well done and thank you to all our volunteers who delivered over 5000 delivery’s during the lockdown period. We as a club are hugely grateful and proud of everyone for all their help. Congratulations to Cathal O Dwyer (current selector with our senior men’s team) and his wife Emma on the birth of their baby boy during the week. Another Corner Forward in the making maybe?
