Our weekly draw took place yesterday evening, Monday 20th July.

The numbers drawn were 6-16-19-23, but there was no lucky winner of the €13,000 Jackpot. We had 2 Match 3 Winners; Catherine Greene & Pat Herlihy, each winning €100. Congratulations to you both.

Our Next Draw will take place Next Monday evening, July 27th and it will be streamed LIVE once again on our Facebook Page @ 8.30pm where the Jackpot will remain at €13,000! Our reserve jackpot is now standing at €2,000 where €200 will be added to it each week.

Reminder on Safe Return to Play:

Thank you to all mentors, players and parents/guardians for implementing our Safe return to Training in the Club. Thanks, must also go to our large team of COVID supervisors who have kept us all safe and minimised the risks of returning to training.

We appeal to all players to please:

  • Ensure you are vigilant with hand sanitising
  • Keep social distancing when not in live games i.e. on the sidelines, in dug outs & during team talks.
  • If you are away abroad, stay away & self-isolate for 2 weeks

If we don’t stay vigilant & follow these guidelines, there is a real danger that Our Club may have to close as we have seen with other clubs.

Reminder on Safe return to Play for Spectators:

Government guidelines have a max. capacity of 200 persons in attendance at any outdoor event/gathering.

We appeal to spectators to please DO NOT attend if you:

  • Have any symptoms of Covid-19
  • Are in the high-risk Category
  • Have returned from abroad

Please obey social distancing rules and keep note of any close contacts for potential tracing purposes.

Fixtures/Results:

Well done to both our Men’s teams on their winning start to their league campaign. Our Senior team recorded a great win over Navan O’Mahoney’s on a score line of 1-09 to 0-09 while our Junior team were victorious away to Na Fianna on a score line of 4-13 to 0-06. Well done to all involved.

Our Men’s Senior team take on Syddan in Round 2 of the ACAFL Div. 1 (Group C) away in Lobinstown this Wednesday night, July 22nd at 7.30pm.

Our Men’s second team take on Cortown in Round 2 of the ACAFL Div. 5 (Group C) at home this Thursday night, July 23rd at 7.30pm.

Ladies Intermediate Football Championship (team listed first has home advantage).

  • Round 1: St Colmcille’s v Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels on August 4th @ 7.30pm

Ladies Junior B Football Championship (team listed first has home advantage).

  • Round 1: Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels v Blackhall Gaels on August 5th @ 7.30pm
