Our thanks to our senior men’s management team, who have stepped down after four years at the helm. They gave huge commitment and dedication to the role and have our best wishes for the future. Thanks to club stalwart Marty Reilly who has agreed to step into the breach and take charge of the team on an interim basis.
Fine performance by our minor boys in overcoming Gaeil Colmcille on Saturday in terrible conditions, to win by 1-16 to 2-4 after trailing by six points at half-time. The team’s next outing is at home to Seneschalstown on Wednesday 26th February at 8 p.m. Upcoming adult men’s games with the start of the All County Leagues: Our senior men play Oldcastle in Dunshaughlin on Friday week at 8 p.m. and our second team takes on Wolfe Tones the following evening in Dunshaughlin at 6 p.m. Three Dunshaughlin players contributed to Meath’s Under 20 Leinster championship victory at Enniscorthy on Saturday. Mathew Costello scored a point and set up Shane Walsh for the crucial goal, Matthew Moyles entered the fray at half-time while Luke Mitchell scored two points after his introduction. Next outing is in Parnell Park on Saturday against the Dubs, throwing in at 2 p.m. A reminder to adult players and parents/guardians of juvenile players that membership fees for 2020 are now due.
