A mixed bag of results for our teams during the past week.

The intermediate ladies had a great win against Dunsany and qualify for the county semi-final in Ashbourne on Wednesday week, 18thSeptember.

All three of our men’s teams were in championship action during the week. The seniors lost to neighhbours Skryne but still qualify for a quarter final, our first time to advance that far since 2015. Well done to all on the panel and their mentors.

Our Junior team had a comprehensive win on Sunday morning v Seneschalstown but it came too late to get us into the knock-out stages. Our third team after a great year went down to St. Colmcilles on Friday night. Thanks to all who contributed to a great run and particularly to all our selectors, Paul Sheehy, Kevin Kealy, Jim Mitchell and Martin Summerville.

Other results during the past week:

Royal Gaels Under 13s beat Ballivor;

Under 15s Div 1: Skryne 7-10 Royal Gaels 3-11.

Our Under 9 girls played in the Little Ladies League v St Colmcilles on Saturday while our Under 9 boys had an outing against Curraha.

Don’t forget the ladies All-Ireland final this coming Sunday 15th Septemberat 1:45 p.m. as Meath take on Tipperary at Croke Park. Tickets cost €25 for adults and €10 for Students, Seniors and U16s. Good luck to our representatives Niamh Gallogly and Niamh O Sullivan and to sponsors Eamonn and Colette Dunne of Farmhouse Foods and Mary O Regan, Ladies county secretary.
