The numbers drawn in our most recent Lotto draw, on Monday night, were 7, 13, 20, 22. There were four Match 3 winners Joey McEntaggart twice, Pádraig McHale and John Davis jun. They win €50 each. The jackpot next week will be €6,200.
Our minor boys lost Tuesday evening’s Summer League Final to Navan O’ Mahony’s 3-10 to 1-11. The league was good preparation for the upcoming Minor Championship which we hope will have a better end result. All players got game time during the league and thanks to Kealy Construction for providing a new set of jerseys.
Our adult men had a mixed weekend, winning a high scoring Junior D game v Curraha and losing the Junior A encounter with Gaeil Colmcille. The seniors are out next weekend v St. Patricks in Ashbourne on Saturday 10that 7 p.m.
Hard luck to the Meath girls Under 16 team who lost their All Ireland final to Galway last week. Niamh McEntee, Clara MacCanna and Karla Kealyall featured on the Meath panel and it was a superb achievement to get so far in a very competitive grade.
Well done to all the lads from the club who represented Meath in recent days. Fiach Hartigan togged out for Meath U-14 v Offaly, Donagh McCarrick was on the Meath under 15s who beat Galway 5-19 Galway 2-10 and now play in the final on Saturday 17th August while John McDonagh, Ruairi Kinsella, Aaron Murphy and Fursey Blake, were part of Meath’s Under 16’s quarter final win over Wexford. They have now reached the semi-final.
Well done to all the boys and girls who are performing at such a high level.
