Busy Saturday
Last Saturday was a busy day on and off the field. Our Revised Rules Tournament came to a successful conclusion on Saturday afternoon when Dreadnots of Louth defeated Dunboyne. Thanks to the McCarthy and Duffy families for use of the McCarthy-Duffy Cup for the competition. It is hoped to have a donation in the region of €1,000 for the Seán Cox Fund as a result of the event.
All then adjourned to the Arch Bar for a Night at the Races where a large crowd kept the bookies busy until the early hours. Thanks to Mairéad Delaney for her work in organising the event, to our sponsors, the team of bookies, everyone who bought horses and all who came out to participate. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Upcoming Games:
Our Under 15 boys play Duleek-Bellewstown in Duleek on Sunday 18th November in the county semi-final following a big win over Navan O Mahonys in the final round.
The Under 13 boys play Duleek-Bellewstown in Dunshaughlin this Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. for a place in the semi final.
Great effort by our Under 13 girls in the Shield Final but Donagmore/Ashbourne proved to be the better team on the day.
Our Under 15 and minor girls have reached their finals. Check Royal Gaels Facebook page for up to date information on dates and times. Best of luck to both teams.
