Race Night
All is almost ready for our Race Night fundraiser in the Arch Bar on Saturday. Come along for what is always an enjoyable evening. First race at 9 p.m.
Minor Final:
Our minor boys are Division 2 county champions following a fine display in the final against North Meath Gaels at Páirc Tailteann on Monday. Congrats to all involved, players and subs, team mentors Paul Murphy, Jim Mitchell, Damien Kennedy and parents for supporting the team on its journey. Joint captains Ódhran O Riordan and Kevin Bawle accepted the cup from Mairéad Delany, a fitting choice as they were joint winning captains in the Under 12 final in 2012 also. Well done also to our Under 9s and their mentors who played North Meath Gaels at half time. See report and pics on our Facebook page.
The Under 13 boys play Duleek-Bellewstown in Dunshaughlin this Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. for a place in the semi final.
Well done to the Royal Gaels adult Division 4 team that qualified for a final appearance with victory over St Patricks by 2-6 to 1-6.
Royal Gaels minors will play Na Fianna in Dunshaughlin on Friday evening with a final place up for grabs. All support welcome.
Annual General Meeting
Our AGM will take place in the Pastoral Centre on Friday 23rd November from 7.30 p.m. All adult paid up members should have received nomination forms by e-mail or post and those are due back by this Thursday. If you didn’t receive one, contact the secretary at 086-8291816.
Trying out Revised Rules
Our Revised Rules Tournament is scheduled for this Saturday 3rd November from 11 a.m. in the GAA grounds. A donation will be made to the Support Seán Cox Fund following the event. All support appreciated.
