Lotto Results:

The numbers drawn in Monday night’s Lotto were 14, 17, 21, 22. Congratulations to our four Match 3 winners, the McCormack Family, Tom & Phil Sheehy, Christy Purcell and Emmet McGrath. Each wins €50. Next week’s jackpot is €8,400.

All Ireland Ladies Intermediate Final

Huge congratulations and well done to our representatives on the Meath Ladies’ team that has qualified for the All Ireland final v Tyrone on 16th September in Croke Park. Captain Niamh O Sullivan will lead the team and she and Niamh Gallogly were central to Meath’s great semi final victory last Saturday. Congrats also to Mary O Regan, secretary of the Ladies’ Board and Eamonn Dunne of Farmhouse Foods, the team sponsor.

 

Fixtures this week

Tuesday:

Boys: Under 14 Paddy O Brien Cup final at Dunganny, this Tuesday evening at 6.30 p.m. Dunshaughlin v Gaeil Colmcille.

Ladies: Minor Division 2, Royal Gaels v Boardsmill in Boardsmill this Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.

Wednesday: Minor Football Challenge, Dunshaughlin v St. Ultans, Wed 29th August at 7 p.m. in Dunshaughlin.

Saturday:

Intermediate Prel Quarter Final, Dunderry v Duleek Bellewstown at 7 pm in Dunshaughlin.

 

Results:

Congrats to our men’s senior team on a deserved draw v Dunboyne at the weekend and to our Junior men and women who both recorded victories and advanced to the enxt stage of their competitions.

SFC Dunshaughlin 1-11 Dunboyne 0-14. We retain our senior status for 2019.

JFC: Dunshaughlin Gaeil Colmcille. Team plays Ballivor in the quarter final.

JFBC: Royal Gaels 4-11 Dunboyne 2-5. Team should progress to semi finals.

Club Family Funday and BBQ

Thanks to all who organised and supported our fun sports day in the GAA grounds last Sunday. Despite the rain there was a good crowd and a variety of events meant all enjoyed the afternoon. Lots of photos and videos on Royal Gaels Facebook page.



Race Night

The Club is hosting a Race Night Fundraiser on Saturday15th September, the eve of the All Ireland Ladies’ final. Come join us for a fun night of entertainment in the Arch Bar and help support your club. Cost to become an - Owner €10/ Trainer €10/ Jockey €10 or all three for just €25. Meath County Board House Draw

The club is selling tickets for the Meath County Board house draw. Three houses, each valued at €275,000, will be raffled over the next 18 months while there will also be a number of cash prizes.
