Congratulations to Dunshaughlin players Mathew Costello, Luke Mitchell and Cathal McCormack who have been featuring prominently for ...Meath Underage teams in recent weeks. Mathew was part of the Meath team that defeated Dublin in the Leinster Under 17 Special Championship last week with the Royals coming out on top by 1-15 to 1-10. Luke and Cathal are part of the Meath panel for the annual Gerry Reilly Tournament in Oldcastle, an inter-county series involving eight counties. They both contributed to the winning total against Louth in the second round with Luke scoring a combined 3-10 in the victories over Longford and Louth. Well done lads. Great to see so many of our young players featuring in the green and gold. Royal Gaels: Congratulations to Niamh O'Sullivan who captained the Meath Ladies team and to Orlagh McLoughlin and Niamh Gallogly and the rest of their team mates as they defeated Wexford in the Leinster Intermediate Final on Sunday. Enjoy the celebrations. The girls return to club action tonight as they take on Bordsmill in the SFC in Dunshaughlin at 8pm.
