Royal Gaels

The u14 girls played in the Meath Féile tournament on Saturday in Grangegodden Kells. Their first game was against Walterstown and the girls lost on a score line of 1-6 to 1-1. The second game was against Oldcastle and the Royal gaels came out on top with the narrow of margins 1-3 to 1-2. 3rd game was against Seneschalstown the the black and amber girls coming out on top with scoreline of 1-1 to 0-1. The final group game was against Kells unfortunately the gaels losing 1-5 to 0-5. That result meant there was a 3 way tie for 2nd qualifying sport between Dunshaughlin, Walterstown and Seneschalstown. The format for this was a shoot out form the 20 metre line. Well done to Niamh McEntee, Clara MacCanna, Abby McHugh, Kay Gannon and Lauren Brophy who stood up to take the kicks. Ultimately it was 1 successful Walterstown score that put them through. Well done to all the girls involved you did yourselves, your family and the club proud.

Well done to the u10s who had challenge games against Duleek/Bellewstown.

Well done to the Royal Gaels girls who played for Dunshaughlin Rockets Team in U16s and winners of the Plate atop 4 in Streete on Sunday.

Best of luck to the u16s in their Division 1 fixture v Skryne at  6:30pm in Skryne Tues 4th April.

Hard luck to Niamh O'Sullivan, Niamh Gallogly and Orlagh McLaughlin and Meath Senior Ladies who lost to Leitrim in their round 7 of the Lidl National League on Sunday.

Hard luck to Laura Quinn and Meath Minors who lost to Dublin in Leinster A semi final on Sunday.
