Tá súil againn go mbeidh gach club pairteach ann. Beidh buan -corn "Paddy Meegan" bronnta ar na buaiteoirí agus rachadh na buaiteoirí ar aghaidh go dtí craobh laighin. Meath GAA clubs will participate in our annual quiz with the winners going to Croke Park to represent our county on St Patrick's week in March. This year will be different with the winners being presented with the Paddy Meegan perpetual trophy. Paddy Meegan brought fame and honor to his club Syddan and to his beloved county winning two all Ireland medals in 1949 and 1954. He also represented his club Syddan in scór competitions and to his recitations were a joy to behold. We ask all clubs to have a team of 3-4 present in O'Mahony's clubhouse on Saturday 5th of March at 8.30pm sharp. If anyone is interested, please let us know!
