Saturday the 10th of October 2015 is a day that will live long in the memories of the people of Dunshaughlin. The day could not have started any better with our senior team being crowned Div 1 A league champions with them defeating St Peter's Dunboyne 4-09 to 11 points in Pairc Tailteann. This memorable victory set the tone for great excitement and ensured that momentum was gathered which resulted in a great atmosphere that filtered on into the large crowd who attended the Black Bush Golf Club Dunshaughlin to see a historical event in which the Black & Amber book was officially launched by GAA president Aogán Ó Fearghail
We would like to thank everyone who came to support the lads and to Marty, Simon, Kit and the players who put in a serious effort all year to get their hands on the Mooney cup.
A big thank you in also in order for all who came to see the launch and to Brendan Cummins, Conor Tormey, Aogán Ó Fearghail for their valuable time. We also want to thank the Black Bush Golf club for hosting the event & to Hilary Flanagan, Hugh McCarthy, Roisin Blake, Sean McTigue, Fergie Gogan, Niall Kelly,Pat Maloney ,Caroline Malone, Neil O'Dwyer ,Brian O'Brien and photographer Des O'Neill & lastly to Jim Gilliagan and Patsy McLoughlin for their Trojan efforts in getting this historical book published.
