MATCH NEWS
A great start to the league campaign by the minor footballers with a 4 point win over Scoill Ui Chonaill in difficult conditions.
St Maurs Hurlers start their League off this weekend away to Corkes match had to be called off ten into the second half.
Great opening win for the u14 hurlers away to Ballyboden yesterday . Dominated from start to finish and won 9-8 to 0-1.
The under 9 girls showed off their football skills yesterday when they played Lusk in a friendly game. Maurs had a very strong win and put on a wonderful show for parents and supporters.
Sat. 1st Mar the u12 boys football team had their first league match away to St. Finians. Despite some great saves by goalkeepers Cameron Coffey in the first half, and Ross Benson in the second, St. Maurs lost out to a stronger side.
Sun 2nd March the u12 footballers also played away to Craobh Chiarain in an 11 a side game. However, despite being a player down, the final score was Craobh Chiarain 07-08, St. Maurs 07-07
Our U/12 girls team made the trip to Howth to take on Beann Eadair in what has to be open of the most scenic pitchs in Ireland. Despite giving it their all the girls suffered a defeat but showed lots of guts and determination
Well done to the St jospehs Senior boys on their comprehensive win against Donabate in the Dublin Schools Senior Football Championship today. 4-21 to 0-4. Great teamwork from all involved. Congratulations to Mr. McGinley, Mr. Slattery
and all the panel! Another great achievement for the school.

Well done Niamh Carthy on another representation on the ladies side for Maur's at County level - what a result Dubs 8-20 to Kildare 1-6
Great night of comedy in the club last Friday night. Big thanks to Liam Butterly and Derek Farren for organising the event and to Robbie Doyle for the brilliant sound system and lighting effect. When is the next one on lads?
Our Ladies Football team are looking for a help out with the coaching so if you are able to and would like to volunteer an hour or two a week please contact the manager Craig Mulligan or leave a message with the club office.
