WEEKEND RESULTS
Our adult hurlers play Scoil Ui Chonaill in the championship at home on Tuesday night at 7.30pm. and the Senior Footballers will play a challenge match against the Dublin Minor Footballers also at home at 7.45 on Thursday night.
The match between our Senior Football team and Sylvester’s had to be stopped in the 2nd half due to the heavy down pour. Maurs were leading 7 to 6 at the time. The Seniors lost out narrowly to Raheny by 2 points in the Championship at Parnell Park in the replay that went into extra time again.
Our Junior Football team had a good win over Robert Emmets in the Championship Sunday morning where they held onto a 2 point lead despite a strong rally by Emmets at the end.
Another great team performance by U13 girls football to beat Clanna Gael Fontenoy in Division 2 league game on Saturday at home.
Our U12 footballers had a good win away to Naomh Mearnog on Saturday.
Our U10 Footballers had two wins over Peregrines at home on Saturday.
IN THE NEWS
St. Maurs annual mass for deceased members is on Wednesday night at 8.00pm. in the Club Hall.
St. Maurs had two representatives from Rush National School on the Dublin. Schools team that beat Antrim in Casement Park on Friday 5-12 to 2-2. Both Stephen Bogan and Aran Mehigan are active members of the club and Stephen had the honor of captaining the team on the day.
The first team ran a very successful fundraiser for the club on Saturday where they had a good turn out despite the wetting the attendees got earlier at the match. The band were very good also on the night so well done to Alan and his team on a good night.
There will be Bingo next Sunday as usual and the Club.Lotto will be held as usual on Sunday night as well.
