It’s that time of the year again when the biggest and best Annual Draw takes place in St. Maurs GAA Club.For over 40 years St. Maurs have been running their Annual Draw and these past few years have seen it develop even more with a prize fund in excess of €70,000.Tickets are distributed and are on sale @ €30 each and the draw will take place on Saturday the 17th of December in Maurs GAA Club. Tickets are available from all club members and on line at www.stmaursgaa.ie
Our U15 hurlers won the C Shield championship final when the beat Kilmacud Crokes in the final congratulations lads on a great win.
Well done to our Junior Football team have reached the Final of the Dublin Junior Football Champions after their win over Skerries Harps 1-14 to 9 in Balgriffin.
Our U13 camogie team lost out to Na Fianna away in the championship semi final while our Junior Camogie team had a good home win over Naomh Brid in the league.
Maurs U12 girls footballers lost out to Parnells away in the championship while the Adult Ladies Footballers had a good win over Cuala in the league.
Our under 8’s played very well against Man of War @ home where they won three of the four match’s played. The U9’s were at home to Naomh Mearnog who proved to be a very strong competition by winning the two match’s. Maurs man of the match wards went to Cameron Coffey and Conor Gilsenan with good performances also put in by Nicholas Heffernan, Joe Burke and Todd Milne.
Well done to the Juvenile Committee for organising a well run and successful blitz held in the club last Saturday.
