In other news;
Well done to all involved in helping to host the Hurling Feile last Saturday morning in the club.
It is great to hear opposing teams saying they love travelling to Rush and enjoying the hospitality.
Well done to the U12 girls who claimed the Division 2 league title on Sunday evening with a convincing win over St. Margaret’s. A great crowd from Maurs supported and cheered the girls onto this well deserved victory. The girls have won all seven matches this year. Ballinteer, St. Brigids, Naomh Mearnog, Lusk, Skerries, St. Slyvesters and St. Margarets have all succumbed to the football talent of this Maurs team and the girls remain unbeaten in League football for the 2nd year running having won the Divison 3 title last year. The future is certainly bright for a number of these young stars.
The adults had a great win over St. Marys in the Championship on Saturday evening in the Naul. St Maurs progressed to the second round of the Dublin Senior Football Championship with a fully deserved win over Division 1 side St. Mary’s in The Naul on Saturday evening.
Well done to Danny Butterly was in great form the Dublin U/15 Hurlers against Kilkenny on Saturday.
Danny repaid the Dublin mentors by scoring 1 goal and 1 point.
