Hard luck to our hurlers who lost at home to Ballyboden in a hard fought top of the League clash tonight, going down 1-14 1-20 after the teams were level at half time. Great 2nd team hurling game in the park last week Maurs v St Joseph’s. Ended 2-19 apiece. End to end stuff. DEVELOPMENT PROJECT: As everyone will have seen this week ball stop net posts and floodlight pylons are going in this week. Fencing is on site, some of it is up. Paths are being completed and landscaping. A huge transformation will happen in the next few weeks as the 3G carpet goes in.It’s been a busy few weeks on and off the field. If you haven’t come on board to help us fund the project then please act now as we still need more money. Any donated amount is welcome. To donate get in touch, drop into the office or go online. Annual Christine Bollard football tournament Saturday 17th August. This year it was an U14 tournament. Many thanks to all who have helped in anyway to organize the tournament. So much work goes on behind the scenes to make tournament a huge success every year. 80 girls will participate on the day. Well done to all the teams. Great day for club and community. Well done Maurs who won the Christine Bollard tournament 6-6 to 6-2 over Skerries Harps in a thrilling final. Player of the tournament was Tara Brady. Registrations for the Campout continue on Wed from 7-8pm.
